Rubber & Silicone

Metal tooling for elastomer thermoforming is used to vulcanize raw rubber under high temperature and pressure to produce finished rubber/silicone products; the industry term “rubber mold” refers to organic rubbers such as natural/nitrile/EPDM.

“Silicone mold” specifically refers to a precision mold for molding organosilicon materials (silicone rubber), and the vulcanization mechanism of the material and the structural design of the mold vary greatly.
1. Rubber mold (general-purpose organic rubber mold)
Compatible materials: Natural rubber (NR), nitrile rubber (NBR), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), chloroprene rubber (CR), and other organic synthetic rubbers, which are formed by sulfur cross-linking and vulcanization.
2. Silicone molds (silicone rubber molding molds, divided into HTV solid silicone molds + LSR liquid silicone molds)
